New local authorities coming to use ePEP need to be be trained on the use of the system. We provide key training to give local authority administrators a good grounding of how to use the system. This includes setting up new users, using the dashboard in the virtual school platform (VSP) and working in the administration section to change localised features. Additional online and telephone support means further assistance when the administrators need it.
ePEP is an intuitive system. This means it is ideally suited for video training. eGov Solutions has produced a number of videos that focus on the different roles of professional users. Each video focuses on the needs of each user group in completing their part of the ePEP process.
An example of how we structure ePEP training
Each type of user has different roles and responsibilities within ePEP, therefore we divide our training process in to four phases. This pyramid style training allows the ePEP administrators (ePEP Champions) to be fully conversant with the system before aiding other users in their training and prior to system deployment.
